What will the 2024 HOVF look like?

The festival will once again be back in September. We had a great response to a September festival. We have all the same great events planned, Live at Riverside Friday, Saturday morning 5k/10k, Fine Arts, food (lots of food), crafters, activities for the children, music and more. Hope to see you on September 13 for Live at Riverside and September 14 for all the Festival activities and events.

No roaming/passing out literature outside of vendor space, and no political candidates/groups are allowed to exhibit at the festival.

Where is the festival located?

The festival is located at the intersection of Main Street and High Street.

What time does it start?

The 10K Run/5K Walk starts at 8:30 am. Festival vendors open for business at 9:00 am.

What is the cost of admission?

The Festival is a free event! There are some activities that do have a small charge.

Where can we park?

There are several municipal parking lots located around the area of the Festival.  See the parking information on the home page.

Is there handicapped parking?

There are handicapped parking spaces in the municipal lots.

Are pets allowed?

Due to Town ordinance and to ensure the safety and comfort of exhibitors and patrons of the event, NO PETS (EXCEPT SERVICE ANIMALS) ARE PERMITTED ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS.

Is the Festival stroller & wheelchair friendly?

Most areas of the Festival should be accessible with a stroller or wheelchair. Most events occur on the street. There is a slight incline from Main Street to High Street.

How many people attend?

There are no official numbers on record and the attendance varies depending on the weather. It has been estimated that the Festival welcomes more than 30,000 visitors.

What happens if it rains?

The Festival goes ahead rain or shine and is canceled only in severe weather conditions. Check the festival’s Facebook and Instagram accounts for event updates.

Where are the restrooms?

Porta-Johns, including handicapped-accessible  units, will be placed throughout the Festival.
