Select this link for a copy of the application form in PDF Format. The cost for a Community Outreach Booth will be $10.00 per site for each organization. If you plan to sell / fundraise, there will be an additional charge of $20.00. Due to the minimal fee, no exceptions will be made. In order to promote variety and to increase interest and sales, only two organizations will be permitted to sell the same product. You will be notified within two weeks of receipt of your application IF there is concern. Otherwise, you should plan to participate and you will receive a confirmation packet (including space assignment and other important information) in early April. Cancelled checks serve as preliminary acceptance as a Community Outreach participant. To showcase your participation, feel free to link the Heart of Virginia Festival website (www.heartofvirginia.org) to your website(s) and promotional materials.
Only prepackaged goods (canned or bottled drinks, candy, chips, etc.) are allowed; homemade items are not permitted. If planning to sell homemade food items, please contact Director of Festival Foods or apply. Raffles are allowed with pre-approved permission; winner must be announced by conclusion of Festival. If reenacting, refrain from shooting guns, lighting fire, or parading down the street without prior permission. All aspects of your reenactment must be explained in writing along with your application in order to be able to participate in the Festival. Permission will be granted in writing and will be mailed along with your confirmation. Allow patrons to approach your booth rather than forcefully promoting your information. Vending is permitted only from your assigned location (i.e., no roaming sales).
