The festival could also be experienced on the radio thanks to a couple of the local radio stations. Chris and Francis Wood of WFLO broadcast live reports from the festival to their listeners. WVHL were broadcasting from the Longwood Bicentennial Park and showing off the '99 Ford Mustang pictured to the right with station owner Bid Wall. The Mustang can be won by listening to the station during May, June and July. | ![]() |

As mentioned, the festival could be experienced for the first time ever live via a webcam which updated every three minutes for the duration of the festival. The webcam was incredibly popular and was a great way for those who couldn't make it to spy on the goings on in and around the gazebo. The day went by with the minimum of unpleasant incidents. There were plenty of new and interesting things on offer like the antique car show and the air show as well as all the old favorite traditions of the festival.
